Despite speculation of cancellation early in 2011, further hints on the number of adaptions and the date of filming were revealed by Suchet in a televised interview in June 2011 for the showbiz 411, shortly after receiving a CBE from Prince Charles. Suchet stated "I'm not going to say anything until I've actually signed that contract but it looks as though we might be filming the last five Poirot books that I'm able to film (because that's all she wrote) in the autumn of next year [2012].
