Кельнский аукционный дом снял с продажи русский авангард

Речь идет о девяти предположительно поддельных работах Любови Поповой, Эль Лисицкого, Аристарха Лентулова, Ильи Чашника, побывавших в коллекции Курта Бенедикта, влиятельного берлинского арт-дилера перед Второй мировой войной.

The assemblage has one confirmation each from Jean Claude Marcadé (Director of Research at the National Centre for Scientific Research, Paris), dated 22 February 1991, and one from Yevgeny Kovrun (Senior Curator at the State Russian Museum, St. Petersburg), Munich, dated 17 June 1991. These are supplemented by two confirmations in copy from Dimitri Gorbarchow (former Chief Curator of the State Ukrainian Museum, Kiev), Munich, dated 11 April 1992 and 7 May 1993.
